Recipe Index Blocks Guide

If you use the One-Click Theme Setup, then the demo Recipe Index will automatically be created for you using Gutenberg editor blocks. You can learn more about Genesis Blocks by going to the plugin page. To edit the Recipe Index, go to Pages > Recipe Index and begin editing the blocks.

Custom CSS Classes

Some blocks have limitations or settings which are not yet available to configure.

1. Left Hand side first comes Heading and then Categories Widget 2. Right Hand side search widget with title “Search By Ingredient” NOTE: WordPress update is forcing the change on HTML so search bar is not aligned with category dropdown on left.  Solution for search to align properly is remove the label and add a placeholder instead.

2. Place any text inside input where “Optional Placeholder” written and save page

NOTE: Genesis Blocks have limitation its not showing categories on Post and Page Grid block by any means but we are showing it on all blocks by default and can be disabled by deselecting “Genesis Blocks – Post Grid Show Meta” at Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings > Site Layout
