If you use the One-Click Theme Setup, then the demo homepage will automatically be created for you using Gutenberg editor blocks. You can learn more about Genesis Blocks by going to the plugin page.

To edit the Homepage, go to Pages > Home.

Everything we set with Container and Columns using Genesis Blocks

Custom CSS Classes

Some blocks have limitations or settings which are not yet available to configure so added Custom CSS Classes for some Blocks.

Set/update color as required

Go to Admin > Appearance > Customize > Colors & Fonts > Buttons

Set/update default buttons color and font settings.

Demo Install

Install the Kadence Starter Templates Plugin

Once the Child theme is installed and activated.
Admin Notice will be shown to install the Starter Plugin.

This plugin will help get all the demo content installed once we install our new Anchored Kadence Child Theme. .

Manually Install Plugin

  1. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  2. Search for Kadence in the Search bar and look for the one that says “Starter Templates by Kadence WP”.
  3. Install and Activate this plugin.

Install Demo

  • Go to Kadence > Starter Templates > Go to use Classic Starter Templates
  • Choose Anchored Design “pro design”
  • Install Clean Recipe Theme -> Finish and Launch -> Start Import

Wait while installing in progress

When WordPress is not freshly installed, demo posts not imported during one-click theme setup.

NOTE: Sometimes Featured images are not set on import because it’s how wordpress import works so you may need to set manually otherwise import works great.

Page Layout

Set/Update necessary details for Page Layout

GENERAL SETTINGS: Show Page Title, Layout ABOVE CONTENT, Title Align Center, Title Heigh 130px, Show Title and Breadcrumb (hide Meta), Page Layout Narrow(taking the width of the theme without sidebar), Select Sidebar if Layout with Sidebar, etc…

DESIGN SETTINGS: Update as required

Single Post Layout

Set/Update necessary details for Single Post Layout

GENERAL SETTINGS: Show Post Title, Layout IN CONTENT, Show Breadcrumb, Title, and Meta (hide Categories and Excerpt), Page Layout with Sidebar, Select Sidebar if Layout with Sidebar, Show Featured Image with Title, Show Post Tabs, Show Author Box, Show Post Navigation, Related posts and Comments, etc…

Theme Typography

Go to Admin > Appearance > Customize > Colors & Fonts > Typography

Set/Update Fonts as required

  1. Base Font/Paragraph Font: Poppins (Google Font)
  2. Heading Font: Custom Font Butler come with Theme Files
    NOTE: When changing from Butler to any other font, please change all Headings Font Type for H1, H2, H3, H4, H6, Single Post Heading, and Archive Heading too.
  3. Update other Headings as required

4. Title, Breadcrumb and Secondary Font Family for Some Sub Titles
