The background color for the header section is assigned in the Theme Colors Customizer Settings.

Assign the Standard Header Menu

1. Go to Appearance > Menus
2. Create a new menu and name it appropriately – example: “Header Menu”
3. Add menu items to the list on the right side
4. Check the box to assign this menu to the “Header Menu” location
5. Click Save Menu to save your changes

By default, Recipe Blogger includes Simple Social Icons, Genesis eNews Extended and Search on Header Right Area.

#1. Simple Social Icons

Go to Appearance > Widgets >Header Right – Drag and Drop Simple Social Icons to Header Right

Settings for Simple Social Icons

1. Icon Size: 26
2. Icon Border Radius: 3 or 0
3. Icon Color: #333333
4. Icon Hover Color: #666666
5. Icon Background Color Just Reset so it take transparent background
6. Icon Background Hover Color Just Reset so it take transparent background
7. Set your Social Urls as needed.

#2. Genesis eNews Extended

If this widget is included on Header Right then you can see “Subscribe” Button on header and on Click on that button Subscribe Form will Open. This is how its included in Theme

Settings for Genesis eNews Extended

1. Title: NEVER MISS A POST
2. Before Text: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer.
3. Form Action: #(please set correct action as per your email marketing tool)
4. First Name Field: fname
5. Email Field: Email
6. First Name Text: ‘First Name’
7. Email Text: ‘Email’
8. Button Text:  ‘SiGN ME UP!’

Drag and drop search widget to Header Right and thats Done!
